Forever Summer

The real reason for Sophie Maibach's (Anke Retzlaff) transfer to Tenerife is the death of her father (Michael Roll), who died in a car accident almost five years ago. Just before the statute of limitations expires, the wrecked vehicle was found, and many signs point to the perpetrator living in Tenerife. Because the case is closed for Sophie's superiors, the police officer officially cannot conduct further investigation – which she still does. Sophie is transferred to the Spanish police in Tenerife as part of the "Safe Tourism" program. There, she works together with her Spanish-German colleague Álvaro Kruppem-Casado (Félix Herzog). Alongside Álvaro, Sophie is supposed to handle routine matters involving German tourists. But often, it doesn't end with routine...
