How to get there
The start of the trail, when walking downhill, is in the hamlet of Masca, located in Teno Rural Park, on the TF-436 road, between the villages of Buenavista del Norte and Santiago del Teide. Please note that the access road to Masca hamlet is steep and narrow, making it difficult to manoeuvre when several vehicles meet. To improve safety conditions, it is advisable to access the hamlet by group transport (public or private). There are connections with the TITSA bus company to Santiago del Teide, Buenavista and the main tourist spots on the island, which also have taxi services.
