Trail description

Once you pass La Degollada de Guajara, you will find expanses of volcanic tuff covering the old Royal Pathway of Chasna, which traditionally joined the north and south of Tenerife. After entering the pine forest, you can visit the Los Escurriales lookout point by taking the PR-TF 72 Vilaflor - Lunar Landscape - Vilaflor trail. Otherwise, stay on the GR trail, which will lead you down to the Madre del Agua track and the Las Mesas ravine until you reach Vilaflor de Chasna.
