Cruz del Carmen - Llano Los Viejos

This trail, one of the oldest on the island, begins its route in the Cruz del Carmen equipment area, specifically to the right of the Nuestra Señora del Carmen hermitage, and continues for approximately 30 metres along a forest track, to then join a dirt track. The difference in level of the route is a legacy of the watercourse that once flowed along this same route.

This stretch is surrounded by typical vegetation, with faya bushes, heather and some species typical of laurel forests, which leads to Llano de Los Loros, from where it is possible to enjoy wide panoramic views of the north coast. From here the trail widens until it comes out at a bend in the TF-12 road.

To continue the route, you need to cross the road and follow the dirt track that leads to Llano de Los Viejos.
